They are making music which is non violent. They are making Pittsburgh their new home since they have lost their home in Somalia. Lil Kiziguwaz have already recorded a CD. Their dream is to promote their culture, their beliefs, and their challenges through rapping in their native language, Chizigula.
We came here as refugees in 2004, and this is our home now. Our parents fled the civil war in Somalia in 1991. We lived in a refugee camp in Kenya for more than 12 years.
We are happy to work with Trevor and Micheal Gray. Those gentlemen make these boys realize their dream of a bright future.
